Arrangements

Welcome! Arranging these "Hymns of Hope" during the Covid-19 pandemic has been truly one of the highlights of our Sunday for the past few months. Thank you for listening, sharing your requests, and commenting with your thoughts. As a gift of gratitude and love, we have taken the audio and spliced it up for easier listening.

Three Important Notes
  1. These are all the public domain hymns that CJ has arranged. Please download and share them as freely as you would like. You can also share the link to this folder with your family and friends.
  2. If there are any songs you remember that don't appear here, but have great personal meaning to you (for example, you requested them) please email us at madsenhymnsofhope@gmail.com with the name of the hymn (and the date, if you can possibly remember it, or the theme of the broadcast) and we would be happy to send it to you. We want to limit the public nature of these arrangements out of respect of the copyright holders, so if we do send them to you, please don't share them on any public platforms.
  3. We have done nothing to doctor these tracks, so any "backup singing" (or yelling requests for snacks) done by Charlotte and Hollis are included. We hope that just boosts their enjoyability.

Thank you again for sharing this musical time with us. It has made our Sabbath (and many other days of the week) delightful as we have worshiped the Savior together and found His solace in these ever-changing times.

Much Love, Samm and CJ

A Joyful Noise

Have a song you feel is always played TOO SLOWLY in sacrament meeting? Have a hymn that would sound great in a Big Band style or a rousting anthem? Or perhaps a hymn that is traditionally slow (like "If You Could Hie to Kolob") that might transform under a peppy touch? Request it here. We will try to be sensitive to the Spirit so that we are aren't being flippant or disrespectful, but rather that we are making a, "Joyful Noise" unto the Lord.  Watch it here or  View on Facebook

Encircled in Love

This weekend my family is watching general conference, a biannual gathering of disciples of Christ to hear the word of the Lord from apostles and prophets. The theme this week is songs that help you feel the love of God in your life. Can't wait to see you! View on Facebook

God of Israel

One of the biggest things I have pondered this week is how God and His Son lead those who let God prevail in their lives. Share favorite songs about God leading Israel and about submitting our will to the will of the Father and the Son. Watch it here or View on Facebook
